The "AED Anywhere for Anyone" ("AAA") Programme of Hong Kong Fire Services Department (HKFSD) aims to facilitate the provision and use of automated external defibrillator (AED) in the community.

HKFSD, in collaboration with different sectors of the community, endeavors to progressively increase the quantity of public accessible AEDs across Hong Kong, as well as to enhance public awareness and ability to use AED promptly in emergencies, with a view to further protecting life in Hong Kong.

Information of AEDs under the Programme is uploaded to the Centralized AED Registry for Emergency (CARE) online platform established by HKFSD, from which citizens may obtain the locations and details of available AEDs for warranting situations. HKFSD provides comprehensive and appropriate support for participating organizations and community volunteer responders.

AED coverage in the community relies mainly on active participation by different stakeholders of the society. HKFSD appeals for collaborations by different sectors of the community to progressively increase the quantity of public accessible AEDs across Hong Kong, to register the AEDs on CARE, and to promote the concept of "Anyone can use AED", with a view to a community safety net protecting lives of sudden cardiac arrest patients.
