The "Fire and  Ambulance Services Education Centre cum Museum" is located at the "Fire and Ambulance Services Academy" at Pak Shing Kok, Tseung Kwan O. The then Chief Secretary for Administration of The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), Mrs. Carrie Lam, officiated the opening ceremony of the Museum on 29 April 2016. The Education Centre cum Museum has a four-story exhibition hall offering a range of interactive and multimedia information facilities and a number of different exhibition and experience areas. There are “History of Hong Kong Fire Services”, “Fire Appliances / Ambulances”, “Community Emergency Preparedness Education Centre”, “Fire Services area”, “Ambulance Services area”, “Mobilizing and Communications area”, “Training Works area”, “Partnering with the Community area”, “Strengthening the Ties area”, “Major incidents area” and “Fallen Heroes’ Corner ".

In addition to a detailed introduction to the history, culture and development of the Hong Kong Fire Services Department for more than 150 years, the Education Centre cum Museum will further educate the public on basic fire safety and ambulance knowledge, contingency methods/what to do in case of fire and public first aid skills.

The "Fire and Ambulance Services Education Centre cum Museum" is now open to  individual/group visit applications free of charges. Due to limited numbers of place, applications will be processed on first-come-first served basis. National Security Education cum Resource Centre

To deepen the public’s knowledge of the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China, the Basic Law and the Hong Kong National Security Law, and give them a better understanding of the Fire Services Department (FSD)’s work on safeguarding national security, public order and safety, the FSD established the National Security Education cum Resource Centre in the Fire and Ambulance Services Academy at Pak Shing Kok Road, Tseung Kwan O on 1 December 2023.

The Centre introduces on display boards the facets of national security and the related work undertaken by the FSD.  It also features an interactive information wall with interactive projections to allow visitors to learn about the twenty major fields of national security and explore their details.  Additionally, there is an interactive photo booth for visitors to virtually try on various Fire Services uniforms and take digital photos as a keepsake.
